Guidelines
Employee Excellence Awards (Points Based System)
Employee Excellence is a Strathfield Sports reward and recognition program. This reward system should encourage a culture of recognition and motivate, engage, and retain high-performing employees. Employee Excellence can be recognised through team work, customer service etc. or acknowledged by a google review, compliment from a customer and so forth.
Employee Excellence enables our employees, managers, and supervisors to share real life examples of where they have seen one of their fellow employees putting our values into action.
How does it work?
Employees will accumulate points throughout the year. At the end of the year these points will be totalled up with the employee possessing the most points being awarded the Employee of the Year Award. This will give all staff a better chance of obtaining EOTY award while not feeling underappreciated and neglected even though they have outperformed expectations.
Nomination Form
Employee Excellence is a program where managers, supervisors, employees and customers can nominate an employee in the business who they believe are displaying Employee Excellence moments. An Employee Excellence moment is where you feel an employee has demonstrated and gone above and beyond what is expected from them.
- All Employee Excellence (EE) nominations submitted, must link in with one or all of Strathfield Sports values. The Employee Excellence moment could be in relation to the service of a customer, how the employee has conducted themselves at work and/or how the employee has supported their team mates.
- To nominate an employee, you simply complete an Employee Excellence nomination form. These can be found on the bio on the strathfield.sports Instagram page, at the bar PC, reception PC and Proshop PC. An employee, customer or manager can nominate by completing the form online and email to phillip@strathfieldsportsclub.com.au
- The person completing the form must detail the reason for the nomination, which value they feel the behaviour represents and must include details of how the nominated employee has demonstrated values behaviour.
- An EE could also be generated off a Mystery Shopper, feedback from a customer or any other sources that is deemed appropriate.
- Once the form is received by senior management, senior management will liaise with the General Manager of the employee nominated.
- The EE nomination forms are reviewed by senior management quarterly to assist in deciding the different categories of rewards.
