Welcome
We are delighted to welcome you on board as a member of the Strathfield Sports team and look forward to working with you. We have prepared this handbook to help you settle into your new role and to understand what you can expect from Strathfield Sports, and in return, what Strathfield Sports expects from you.
Our purpose is to provide a unified and consistent approach to the growth and development of our people and Strathfield Sports as a whole. The policies and procedures in this handbook are implemented consistently for all employees and are aimed at providing you with a framework for understanding the expectations and aspirations of Strathfield Sports.
Please read through the handbook thoroughly and retain it for future reference. From time to time, some of the policies may be changed. When such changes occur, they will be brought to your attention through written and verbal communications. Keep an eye out on the Duty Manager notice board.

This page will be a guide to assist employee in the commencement of work at Strathfield Sports. Please read carefully of the privacy policy and Fair-work information statement provided in the employee welcome pack. Competency card will need to be provided to Strathfield Sports and a checklist for management to help assist employee on their commencement of work.
The following forms will need to be completed during induction or by first day of work.
- Employee information form
- Superannuation form
- Tax file number declaration form
During Induction employee will be completing online courses provided by Strathfield Sports. The following courses will be completed on induction day.

GUIDELINES
- Strathfield Sports roster week starts from Wednesday and ends Tuesday. Pay slip will be processed on Wednesday (unless public holiday, pay slip will be processed earlier). Pay slip will be sent to the email provided by employee.
- Competency card will need to be on premises at all time when working. It is recommended that employees are to download the SERVICE NSW app and have their competency card saved onto the app.
- Prior to induction, Strathfield Sports may ask for uniform size so that uniform can be arranged prior to commencement of work.
Name badge and POS bracelet will be provided on the day.
