Objective
The objective of this policy is to outline the guidelines for Strathfield Sports Club (SSC) staff regarding the usage of the tennis and futsal courts. This policy ensures that staff can enjoy the facilities in a fair and organised manner while maintaining the Club’s operational integrity.
Definitions
- Off-Peak: Monday – Friday outside of 4pm – 8:30pm, and Saturday – Sunday all day.
- Peak: Monday – Friday after 4pm – 8:30pm.
Responsibilities
Managers
- Ensure staff bookings comply with the policy.
Employees
- Make bookings in accordance with peak and off-peak times.
- Be mindful of court availability and noise levels when using the courts.
- Adhere to the visitor fee guidelines during peak times.
Procedures
1. Tennis Court Usage
- Staff can play outside of their shift hours at Strathfield Sports Club free of court hire.
- Staff hits are free of court hire during off-peak times.
- Peak-time staff hits can only be booked on the day of, if available, free of court hire.
- Visitor fees apply during peak times.
- All staff bookings are subject to cancellation based on noise levels, number of guests, and court availability.

- Visitor Fees: No visitor fees apply.
- Family and Friends: Includes family and friends.
- Court Availability: Court number pending availability.
3. Peak Usage
- Time: Monday – Friday after 4pm – 8:30pm.
- Visitor Fees: Visitor fees apply.
- Exemptions: No visitor fees for direct family (parental/sibling/grandparent).
- Bookings: Bookings can be made on the day only.
- Court Availability: Limited to 1 court, pending availability.
4. Futsal Court Usage
- Discount: 50% discount on court hire for staff.
- Booking Restrictions: No permanent bookings available.
Breach of Policy
Failure to comply with the Court Usage Policy may result in a review of court privileges, or other disciplinary action. This policy ensures that all staff members can enjoy the facilities while adhering to the Club’s operational guidelines. Any variation the above requires approval from General Manager.

Scope
This policy applies to all staff members of Strathfield Sports Club.
